Work Naturally and the Intuitive Way
Because you're working directly on the screen, it feels very natural, just like you're working with pen and paper. With both your hands and eyes focused in the same place, working on the Cintiq is especially intuitive. And the Grip Pen, with exchangeable nibs, and the Airbrush allow you to simulate all sorts of conventional techniques.
Be More Efficient and Productive
To allow you to work more efficiently, the Cintiq 21UX features the new ExpressKeys and Touch Strips. This allows you to dispense with the keyboard and use your Cintiq as the only tool in front of you.
The ExpressKeys are set by default on the most important functions, but they are programmable so you can choose which functions are best for you. The Touch Strip is perfect for scrolling and zooming. Because both the ExpressKeys and Touch Strips are on both sides of the tablet and programmable, they are admirably suited to both left and right-handers.
In summary: the combination of pens, ExpressKeys and Touch Strip reduces your dependence on the keyboard, speeds the flow of your work and increases your productivity and efficiency.
100 percent Compatibility with the Intuos3
If you work with the Intuos3 series of tablets, you'll find that you can use all your pens on both your Intuos3 tablet and your Cintiq 21UX. And as a Cintiq user, you'll profit from all the future developments of the Intuos3 pens, and be able to use all the properties which the Intuos3 pens are known for, such as tilt-sensitivity, rotation-sensitivity, Tool ID and the wheel on the Airbrush.
